JTBC는 종합편성채널 방송국으로 대한민국을 대표하는 기업입니다.
이번 작업은 JTBC의 비전인 “차별화된 컨텐츠로 새로운 세상을 창조하는 것.”에서 영감을 얻어 진행되었습니다.
시청자의 마음을 사로잡는 방송이 되길 바라며 드라마, 예능, 교양, 시사, 디지털 오리지널, 스포츠 등 다채로운 채널을 표방하며 성장한 JTBC.
다채로운 느낌을 표현하기 위해 채널북 디자인 컨셉을 보는 각도에 따라 다양한 느낌의 연출이 가능한 렌티큘러 입체 이미지 효과를 활용했습니다.
표지는 그래픽 이미지로 컬러에서 회색으로 변화하는 렌티큘러를 제작해 부착했고, 특별한 공법을 이용해 4면의 절단면 마감을 고급스럽게 마무리하기위해 많은 노력을 기울였습니다.
내지에도 시각적 효과를 극대화 하기 위해 챕터 구분마다 렌티큘러 처럼 세로로 분할된 여러 컷의 이미지를 합성해 연출했습니다.
그리고 종이를 접어서 쉽게 찾을 수 있게 했으며, 또다른 화보를 보는듯한 기쁨을 주었습니다.
한정수량으로 제작된 JTBC채널북(국영문 2종)을 담은 케이스는 열었을 때 대비를 주기 위해 백색의 깨끗한 재질 위 로고 이외에는 표현하지 않았습니다.

렌티큘러 필름(Lenticular Film)은 일부 이미지 차단 효과 및 선택적 빛의 전진 효과를 이용하여 2차원 평면 이미지로 3차원 입체 이미지 효과를 얻을 수 있으며,
디자인에 따라서 움직이는 듯한 형상을 구상할 수 있습니다.
Channel-book of JTBC
JTBC is the major broadcasting company of Korea as a broadcasting station with TV channels of comprehensive programming.
This work was conducted by deriving inspiration from the vision of JTBC, "To create a new world with differentiated contents".
The grown JTBC while moving the viewer's heart through diversified channels such as drama, entertainment, culture, current affairs, digital original and sports. To express these diversified feelings of JTBC the design concept was planned as a "variety of viewers' eyes".
To express this, the lenticular three-dimensional image effect by which a variety of feelings is produced depending on the angle viewing the channel-book of JTBC was applied.
For the cover, the lenticular changing to gray from the color was made and attached as a graphic image, and finished luxuriously the cutting surface by using a special technique.
For the inner paper also, the images of several cuts divided vertically were synthesized and produced like the lenticular at every chapter division to maximize the visual impact.
And it was made to find easier by folding the paper, and was implemented an effect that looks like to see another pictorial.
For the case containing the channel-book of JTBC (2 kinds in Korean and English) produced in limited quantity, it was designed by inserting simply the CI to maximize the impact at the opening.

For the lenticular film, it makes to obtain the three-dimensional image effect with a two-dimensional plane image by using some image blocking effect and forward effect of selective lights. It can visualize a moving shape depending on the design.
